About The Position

Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan. On behalf of our client, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Technical Territory Representative to work in Kampala, Uganda. The purpose of this role is to drive growth in animal health and crop protection segments in Uganda by expanding market reach, building strong distributor and key stockist relationships, managing inventory at the distributor level, ensuring field-level engagement through training and farm visits, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Degree in Animal Science or a relevant course.
  • 3 years' experience in Sales Management in the Livestock industry.
  • Registered and retained member of the Uganda Veterinary Board.
  • Valid driving licence with at least 3 years of driving experience.
  • Must be resident in Uganda.
  • Strong selling and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of veterinary pharmaceuticals and crop protection products.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Report writing and presentation skills.
  • Strong customer relationship management skills.
  • Results-oriented with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a territory.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • High integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sales growth for veterinary pharmaceuticals and crop inputs; identify new market opportunities and product gaps.
  • Achieve set sales revenue targets by SKU, distributor, routes, and key stockists.
  • Ensure key stockists have access to timely and consistent stock based on seasonal trends.
  • Introduce new products quarterly.
  • Achieve set standards on route coverage (100%), customer complaint resolution (100%), and merchandising standards.
  • Monitor stock levels and inventory turnover at the distributor level.
  • Track and reduce expired or slow-moving products through proactive planning.
  • Review and assess distributor adherence to company standards and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure 100% adherence to FIFO.
  • Conduct regular visits to stockists to monitor stock levels and movement.
  • Maintain up-to-date certification with the Uganda Veterinary Board.
  • Remain a fully certified and retained member of the Uganda Veterinary Board.
  • Facilitate training sessions to build skill and capacity of distributor and key stockist sales teams.
  • Update personal job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and industry events.
  • Contribute to the development of the revenue budget for review and approval.
  • Manage activities within approved limits.
  • Implement sales strategy, sales budgets, and annual plans.
  • Develop and present comprehensive, accurate reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Provide market intelligence on trends, insights, and competitor activity.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
