About The Position

The Technical Support Analyst position supports the machine shop and detail planning. Methods is responsible for creating machine shop routings and work methods within Teamcenter and EWP/ME, ensuring the accuracy of all machine shop paperwork. The role also supports and assists in the Delivery Request process and manages emergent work for the Machine Shop in conjunction with production planning.

Requirements

• High school or technical school graduate.
• Machine shop experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
• Strong computer skills, including Excel.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb in enclosed machines.
• Strong math skills.
• Self-directed, with the ability to work with limited supervision.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both in a team and independently.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to a demanding environment.
• Excellent organizational and facilitation skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving and investigative skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter with aptitude and willingness to learn about the company's business systems.

Nice To Haves

• Comprehensive understanding of GD&T.
• Understanding of LEAN manufacturing.
• Competency in EWP and Applecore.
• CAD experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain all machine shop routings for revision control and current statuses.
• Coordinate with production planning to manage machine capacity.
• Coordinate with programming to ensure manufacturing methods are efficient.
• Support varying tasks and projects based on supervisory direction.
• Read, interpret, and understand technical drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing callouts.
• Research Mil-Spec standards, SP, and SSP for the shop.
• Support and assist in the Delivery Request process and manage emergent Machine Shop work in conjunction with production planning.
• Ensure the accuracy of all machine shop paperwork.
