About The Position

The Technical Supervisor role in the Coating Semi-Temp Lamination Department involves conducting pre-shift meetings, overseeing the assembly process of finished products, deploying personnel to production lines, and providing guidance and leadership to associates to help them reach basic proficiency in every position on the line. This role also includes other duties as assigned, and management reserves the right to reassign responsibilities as needed. The position encompasses knowledge of Fuyao products and the PLEX system, shipping and receiving processes, communication with planners and customers, and directing forklift drivers. Training responsibilities include knowledge of production work instructions, human resources and attendance systems, and training new employees. Inventory management involves daily confirmation of empty racks, monthly inventory of empty racks and materials, and maintenance of the material warehouse. Invoice responsibilities include knowledge of FGA services, billing methods, and communication with FGA accounting. Bookkeeping involves organizing shipping and receiving paperwork, invoices, and employee information. The role requires adherence to company policies and safety procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.

Requirements

Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership and customers.
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
The employee is regularly required to stand for long periods.
Duties include turning at the waist, reaching, bending, squatting and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Ability to pass static strength requirements (grip)
Visual acuity including, but not limited to: NEAR ACUITY, FAR ACUITY, DEPTH PERCEPTION, COLOR VISION, FIELD OF VISION.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
Knowledge of and familiarity manufacturing software.
Must be 18 years of age or older.

Nice To Haves

1 to 3 years manufacturing experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
FORKLIFT OPERATION (Certification Required)
Powered Industrial Truck Certification. Propane, Gas, or Stand up if applicable & Forklift Train the Trainer Certified
