About The Position
The Technical Specialist serves as a technical resource for the department, performing routine and specialized patient testing while helping ensure an efficient, effective, and high-quality work process. The specialist serves as a knowledge expert and technical consultant in the relevant specialty area(s), and reports to the Division Head.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology.
- Laboratory experience in non-waived testing in the designated specialty/subspecialty.
Nice To Haves
- ASCP Certification is preferred.
