Technical Solution Director
About The Position
The Product, Portfolio & Technical Solution Management (PP) team is responsible for providing input to the complete set of all products/services related to design, production, maintenance, and termination information processes. This team ensures the optimal allocation of resources between different products/services and areas of potential improvement to balance the products/services mix and maintain alignment between Nokia's products/services and the overall business strategy. They also ensure a successful launch of the products/services in the market by applying a go-to-market strategy and translating key market, business, and customer needs into products/services and solutions. The Product Management (PRM) group, to which the technical solution group reports, ensures the management of specific products/services as they progress through their lifecycle with both operational and strategic responsibility. This includes positioning the product/service in the respective markets, defining business models, segmentation, and pricing. It also involves the implementation of strategies set by portfolio management and ensuring that products/services are developed or updated accordingly to the portfolio and in close linkage with R&D, technology, and markets (operators, end-users).
