About The Position

As the Technical Services Manager – Brazing, you will serve as the senior technical expert, partnering with customers, operations, and commercial teams to deliver high-quality, reliable processing solutions while driving continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science or related engineering field
- 5+ years of experience in heat treatment or metals processing
- Knowledge of AS9100, NADCAP, IATF 16949, CQI-9, CQI-12
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Nice To Haves
- Brazing and/or nitriding experience preferred
- Aerospace and Lean/Six Sigma experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Serve as subject matter expert in brazing, nitriding, and FNC processes
- Support customers and sales with technical solutions, prototypes, and issue resolution
- Drive compliance with AS9100, NADCAP, and customer requirements
- Identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Develop and optimize process parameters and control plans
- Support new business launches, including FAIRs and sample approvals
- Train teams on heat treatment principles, SPC, and inspection methods
- Develop procedures, specifications, and technical documentation
- Champion safety, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement
