About The Position

The Technical Service Representative provides professional, courteous support to customers, dealers, and end users. The role involves operating all makes and models of Vac-Con trucks to diagnose and repair deficiencies, preparing accurate written and electronic documentation related to customer satisfaction, and communicating technical cases promptly. The representative works independently with limited supervision and collaboratively as part of a team.

The position requires identifying operational deficiencies in Vac-Con truck models, determining the materials and parts needed for safe, efficient repairs, and using computers and applicable software to access and interpret information about assemblies, schematics, and truck configurations. The representative interprets and follows prints, schematics, technical manuals, and written and verbal instructions. Periodic travel may be required as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, water, and electrical systems.
• Ability to use Salesforce.
