About The Position

MAK Technologies is seeking a Technical Sales Support professional to help support MAK’s Simulator Solutions Division, located in Orlando. This role includes technical implementation and demo development, support for customer presentations and conferences including travel, and working directly with the BD team on solutioning. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys learning complex software, explaining technical concepts clearly, working directly with customers, and helping internal teams deliver the best possible experience from first demonstration through implementation and ongoing support.

Requirements

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills in complex software environments
Ability to work semi-independently while collaborating with other teams
General understanding of computer networking, software applications, software troubleshooting, and technical support workflows
Must be eligible for a Secret clearance
Basic programming or scripting experience, such as Python, Lua, or similar language
General understanding of software APIs and technical documentation

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting sales teams with demos, customer meetings, proofs of concept, or technical product explanations
Familiarity with 3D graphics, modeling and simulation, or distributed software environments
Familiarity with distributed simulation protocols such as HLA or DIS
Familiarity with multiplayer game environments, simulation frameworks, or other networked software systems
Prior defense, aerospace, transportation, or military experience is a plus
