About The Position

Our client is looking for a technically minded sales professional who enjoys understanding how things work, asking the right questions, and helping customers find the best solution for their unique process requirements. This is a consultative, engineering-supported sales position where curiosity, problem-solving, and customer education matter as much as commercial results. This role exists to help customers make confident, informed decisions by understanding their processes, identifying their needs, and guiding them toward the right solution. You'll serve as a trusted advisor, helping customers understand not only what solution is recommended, but why it's the best fit for their application. Your ability to build credibility and trust will directly contribute to customer success and long-term business growth.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, technical sales, or a related customer-facing role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer relationship and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interpret customer specifications and requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to structured communication
  • Experience in maintaining accurate CRM and ERP records
  • Ability to work collaboratively across the sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in industrial, mechanical, manufacturing, chemical process, or engineered product environments where technical understanding is critical to customer success.
  • Experience with RFQs, technical quotations, engineered-to-order products, or application-based selling.
  • A technical background in mechanical, industrial, or process-related fields is considered a strong asset.

Responsibilities

  • Guiding customers through the entire solution selection process—from initial inquiry through quotation and order handoff.
  • Engaging customers, channel partners, and representatives in meaningful conversations to understand their operating conditions, application requirements, and business objectives.
  • Working closely with Application Engineering and Design Engineering teams to help configure and recommend solutions that address customer needs while delivering strong business value.
  • Preparing accurate quotations, proposals, and follow-up communications while maintaining a high standard of responsiveness and professionalism.
  • Managing opportunities throughout the sales cycle, ensuring customers receive timely information and support while maintaining accurate documentation within CRM and ERP systems.
  • Building long-term relationships by becoming a reliable technical resource rather than simply a product vendor.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation
  • Practical, hands-on training and development
  • Exposure to technical and industrial applications across diverse industries
  • Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement
  • A collaborative team environment that values initiative and problem-solving
  • The opportunity to develop both technical expertise and consultative sales skills
  • Meaningful work where you help customers solve real-world operational challenges
