This role focuses on promoting Laticrete’s Masonry Veneer Installation System (MVIS) products and systems in response to a growing demand for high-performance masonry veneer systems.

Requirements

  • Previous experience selling masonry veneer products or related building products strongly desired.
  • Ability to present to large groups.
  • Valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and a good driving record.
  • Physical strength to lift and carry 50 pounds.
  • High level of self-motivation.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Creative thinking.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Strong, aggressive personality.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, and Access.
  • Intermediate knowledge of and functional proficiency in ERP and CRM systems; Oracle EnterpriseOne and CRM OnDemand preferred.
  • Team cooperation – maintain a positive, cooperative attitude with all employees of LATICRETE and all customers.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales goals by creating demand for products and services through major contractor customers and distributor partners.
  • Attend training sessions and travel with experienced technical sales representatives to learn company products, procedures, culture, and customer interaction philosophy.
  • Introduce, demonstrate, and promote all current and new products.
  • Assist and accompany distributor sales personnel in training and motivation at company technical training sessions.
  • Evaluate the territory distributor framework to ensure sufficient coverage and efficiency, and maintain a distributor hopper list.
  • Maximize market penetration in the assigned territory.
  • Implement pricing policies within market segments as directed.
  • Design and execute distributor-level product promotion programs.
  • Maintain Project Tracking files and Competitive Pricing files.
  • Submit quarterly reports summarizing LATICRETE performance and current competitive activity through intelligence gathering.
  • Complete follow-up on inquiries and leads provided by the RSM.
  • Investigate, document, and report all complaints and claims for service in the territory and coordinate with the Technical Service Division.
  • Attend the annual North America Sales Meeting and assigned annual trade shows.
  • Participate in LataVan periodically within the assigned territory as required.
  • Perform other directly related appropriate duties and assume accountabilities as apparent or delegated, including mutually agreed upon objectives.
