About The Position

Gravitics is seeking an experienced Contract Technical Recruiter to lead end-to-end recruitment efforts for immediate technical and engineering openings. This role serves as a strategic partner to the leadership team, responsible for identifying, engaging, and hiring top-tier talent in the competitive aerospace and Space Systems market. The position is hybrid, based out of the Marysville, WA facility, requiring a blend of on-site collaboration and remote flexibility.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, ideally within the aerospace, defense, robotics, or high-growth hardware sectors.
  • Proven ability to understand and screen for complex engineering skill sets (e.g., structures, avionics, GNC, or orbital mechanics).
  • Expert-level skills in identifying talent for "purple squirrel" roles in niche technical domains.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, startup, or rapidly scaling environment where priorities may shift.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to "sell" a vision to highly sought-after talent.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid capacity from our Marysville, WA office.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

  • Experience recruiting for engineering talent.
  • Familiarity with ITAR/EAR compliance requirements during the hiring process.
  • Proficiency with modern Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Greenhouse preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire hiring process for various technical roles, including Aerospace Engineers, Structural Engineers, Propulsion Specialists, and specialized manufacturing talent.
  • Utilize advanced sourcing techniques (LinkedIn Recruiter, Github, X-Ray search, and niche aerospace networks) to build a robust pipeline of passive candidates.
  • Set expectations on market reality and provide regular data-driven updates on pipeline health.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring a high-touch, professional, and transparent experience that reflects Gravitics’ mission and culture.
  • Coordinate and facilitate onsite candidates in process in our Marysville office, including technical screenings and live onsite interviews, ensuring alignment between the interview panel and the candidate.
  • Manage the closing process, including compensation benchmarking and offer delivery, to ensure high acceptance rates.
