We are scaling rapidly and a highly productive, dedicated and knowledgeable Talent Acquisition group is critical to our success. We’re looking for a Technical Recruiter to own full recruiting life cycle for deeply technical engineering roles in a fast-paced startup environment. This recruiter must be a highly motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is proactive in their approach to recruiting. We do not wait for applicants…we use LinkedIn, employee referrals and our networks, proactively reaching out to qualified candidates every day! In this role, you’ll partner hiring stakeholders as a trusted advisor to shape hiring strategy, map competitive talent markets, assist hiring managers with creating compelling job descriptions and direct-source, pre-screen and interview qualified candidates. You’ll evangelize a culture that is highly innovative, dynamic, ethical and fast paced, while educating candidates on our industry leading disruptive technology, our value proposition and our financial upside/potential.

Requirements

  • BS degree and 3+ years of experience sourcing and closing candidates for highly technical engineering positions in a corporate environment.
  • 2+ years in semiconductors, electronics and/or optical communications.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a high sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Able to learn and communicate complex technical information.
  • Experience with at least one applicant tracking system.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a tech startup.
  • Prior experience in a recruiting firm.
  • Experience with Paycor.
  • Experience evaluating and implementing a new ATS.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and proactively source qualified candidates.
  • Act as a trusted partner with hiring stakeholders, developing talent acquisition strategies for current and future needs.
  • Maintain a strong sense of urgency while preserving quality and judgement (we aspire to hire only best-in-class “A” players).
  • Continuously improve recruiting processes and the candidate experience.
  • Leverage data to optimize time-to-hire, build more efficient processes, keep leadership informed, identify challenges and monitor hiring progress.
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience during every step of the candidate journey.
  • Partner with hiring managers during the offer stage, providing them with an understanding of the candidate’s compensation expectations, competitive factors, risk factors and timeline to make a decision.
  • Ensure candidate compensation maps correctly to job grade guidelines and budget.
