About The Position

HealthEquity is seeking a Program Manager for its Identity & Access Management (IAM) program. This role brings structure, visibility, and momentum across the IAM organization by partnering with IAM leadership and the Architecture, Engineering, Hygiene, and Application Onboarding teams. The Program Manager builds and maintains the IAM roadmap, coordinates intake, backlogs, and sprint planning, and establishes OKRs and metrics to monitor program health and progress. The role also partners with IT teams to understand identity and access needs, translate them into IAM requests and roadmap priorities, and ensure requirements are captured, prioritized, and delivered. The position works with IAM teams to identify opportunities for AI to support the program and applies AI tools to planning and reporting where useful. Responsibilities also include resource and capacity planning, dashboard development and maintenance, automating reporting, and analyzing IAM data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. This is a remote position. New team members are expected to attend Trailhead, an immersive onboarding experience held onsite at headquarters once per quarter. HealthEquity covers required travel and accommodations; onboarding may begin virtually before the required onsite session.

  • Ability to assess the time, effort, resources, and cost required for IAM initiatives and develop realistic estimates, timelines, and budget and staffing inputs.
  • Experience running Agile practices, including intake, backlog grooming, prioritization, and sprint planning; Azure DevOps experience preferred.
  • Comfort using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or Claude in day-to-day work, including drafting status updates or summarizing information.
  • Ability to define, collect, and communicate OKRs and operational metrics that give leadership visibility into program health, compliance, and progress.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with experience partnering across IT, Security, and Engineering and influencing without direct authority.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with IAM leaders to maintain momentum across IAM pillars, align priorities, and address roadblocks.
  • Coordinate with IT, Security, and Engineering leaders to identify IAM dependencies and support needs for upcoming and active projects, and incorporate these into roadmap and sprint planning.
  • Gather identity and access requirements from IT teams and translate them into clearly scoped IAM requests.
  • Facilitate creation and ongoing maintenance of the IAM program roadmap with IAM leadership, architects, and other team members, adjusting it as priorities change.
  • Collaborate with IAM architects and engineers to identify relevant IAM trends and technologies for the roadmap.
  • Work with IAM architects and engineers to identify and build AI capabilities that augment the IAM program.
