About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to join the high-growth eBay Live organization - one of eBay's top strategic priorities - helping scale a new and innovative interactive shopping experience for our global customers. In this role, you will own delivery of cross-functional programs across eBay Live, partnering with Engineering, Product, Design, Data Science, Operations, and Business teams to drive execution, manage dependencies, and maintain alignment. The ideal candidate operates independently, brings strong technical acumen and strategic thinking, and has a proven track record of delivering medium to large complexity programs in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years leading cross-functional technical programs in product and technology organizations.
  • Proven track record delivering programs end-to-end - concept through launch - with strong program planning, risk management, dependency management, and release coordination skills.
  • Solid understanding of system design and technical trade-offs; ability to engage credibly with engineering partners and bridge technical and business perspectives.
  • Deep expertise in Agile methodologies, program governance, risk management, and operational excellence.
  • Practitioner-level experience with AI and GenAI tools (ChatGPT Enterprise, Gemini, Glean, NotebookLM, Claude) and workflow automation platforms to drive productivity at scale.
  • Advanced proficiency with Jira, Airtable, Confluence, and Google Workspace; proven ability to build dashboards, reports, and decision-enabling workflows.
  • Strong analytical mindset; leverages data and metrics to drive decisions, validate outcomes, and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Sound judgment in escalating issues and adapting to shifting priorities; proven stakeholder management and influence skills across multiple organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where adaptability, ownership, and strategic thinking drive success.

Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end delivery of medium to large cross-functional programs, owning scope, timelines, risks, and outcomes across Product, Engineering, Design, Operations, and Business teams.
  • Engage engineering partners in technical discussions, architecture conversations, and release planning to support successful program delivery.
  • Lead planning for assigned programs; define timelines, milestones, and dependencies while coordinating cross-functional teams to maintain execution momentum.
  • Align technical execution with business goals; define and track product requirements, prioritize based on impact and dependencies, and maintain documentation and roadmaps.
  • Identify and implement process improvements; drive best practice adoption and introduce scalable operational efficiencies across the organization.
  • Own program reporting - status dashboards, risk registers, dependency tracking, and mitigation plans - to ensure proactive stakeholder visibility and decision-making.
  • Apply strategic thinking to connect execution to program intent; anticipate risks and blockers and proactively drive course corrections.
  • Communicate with clarity and confidence across audiences; lead cross-functional meetings, use structured storytelling to build alignment, and deliver data-driven updates that surface risks and decisions.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment; bring the right stakeholders together, navigate conflict constructively, and build trust through consistent follow-through.
  • Anchor programs to measurable customer and business outcomes; use data and feedback loops to validate value and challenge plans that deliver output without impact.
  • Champion user value in prioritization; model eBay's values and contribute actively to the TPM craft and community.
