Technical Program Manager

Tutor Intelligence•Watertown, MA

About The Position

Tutor Intelligence is hiring a Technical Program Manager to rethink and improve robot manufacturing through processes and software. Working closely with manufacturing engineering leadership, the person in this role will determine which manufacturing processes to codify, while constructively challenging existing ideas to identify the right approaches. They will build practical tools with support from production engineering and a centralized builder cohort, and will be accountable for creating tools that are adopted and used. The role’s impact will be reflected in changes to manufacturing operations over time, including build quality and punctuality. The position bridges manufacturing leadership and the technical lead for Tutor’s wider system development. It requires earning the trust of manufacturing staff and designing tools for both technicians assembling robots and leaders planning the manufacturing roadmap. The Technical Program Manager will develop and execute a manufacturing tooling roadmap, lead builders across the manufacturing organization, and coordinate with builders in other business domains so tools and processes work together.
