The company is seeking its first Technical Program Manager to turn the engineering roadmap into scoped, sequenced, deliverable work. This person will build program management practices suited to a lean, fast-moving team and work closely with engineering leadership and other departments.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or in a closely related role.
  • Proven ability to take work from roadmap through scoped backlog and sprint, and manage it through delivery.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and departments to manage dependencies and commitments.
  • Sound judgment about scope and tradeoffs, including the ability to communicate what is realistic and hold boundaries.
  • Comfort using AI tools to reason through problems and get unstuck.
  • Interest in creating processes from scratch on a lean team.

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare or health technology experience, including familiarity with PHI, data sensitivity, and healthcare compliance; this is not required for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Break the roadmap into measurable work and prepare it for sprint execution.
  • Own the engineering work lifecycle, from scoping through delivery.
  • Coordinate across departments to account for dependencies and keep deliverables on track.
  • Set scope boundaries, prevent scope creep, and communicate realistic delivery plans and tradeoffs.
  • Create program management practices appropriate for a lean, fast-moving team.
  • Use AI tools, including AI coding assistants, to understand the codebase and workflows and to unblock work.
  • Account for healthcare compliance and data-sensitivity considerations, including PHI, when scoping and sequencing work.

Benefits

  • Medical coverage with Crosswalk paying 100% of the premium for every tier of its HDHP, covering employees and dependents at no cost.
  • 401(k) with company match.
  • Remote-first team; the whole company gathers twice a year and teams meet in person once a year.
  • 12 weeks of parental leave.
  • Unlimited paid time off.
  • 10 company holidays.
