About The Position

Arlo is a smart home security company whose Partner Platform team enables service providers, security companies and device makers to build on Arlo technology. The team owns APIs, cloud integrations, certification and launch processes that allow partners to incorporate Arlo video and security features into their products. As a Technical Program Manager on Partner Platform, you will own partner programs from signed agreement through production launch and ongoing operations. You will be accountable for each program’s scope, schedule, technical risk and partner relationship health. You will coordinate Arlo teams and partner counterparts, maintain clear program status, and ensure both companies understand progress, risks and decisions needed. The role includes domestic travel of 10–20% to Arlo offices and partner sites, as well as working early USA hours to support partners based in Europe.

Requirements

7+ years in technical program management, engineering or technical product delivery, including at least 3 years leading external or partner-facing integrations.
Bachelor of Science in engineering, computer science or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Strong command of Agile, Scrum, Kanban or hybrid delivery practices, and experience with Jira, Confluence and a program tool such as Smartsheet or MS Project.
Experience running Scrum ceremonies for multiple engineering teams.
Experience managing several programs at once with competing priorities.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, including communication with directors, VPs and partner executives.
Sound judgment on scope, risk and trade-offs, and confidence to decline requests or escalate early.
Track record of delivering third-party API or cloud integrations from design through launch.
Working knowledge of REST APIs, OAuth and identity, webhooks, cloud services, and mobile or web applications sufficient to challenge estimates and identify risk.
Ability to travel domestically 10–20% to Arlo offices and partner sites.
Ability to work early USA hours to support partners based in Europe.

Nice To Haves

Experience with camera or video streaming services, IoT or smart home, or security and monitoring platforms.
Experience with partner platforms such as telecom, broadband, retail or OEM channels, including certification and co-launch programs.
Familiarity with subscription SaaS metrics such as activation, attach rate and churn, and with experimentation or beta programs.
Experience with AI/ML-enabled products or using AI tools to run programs more efficiently.
PMP, SAFe or similar certification.

Responsibilities

Lead partner programs from kickoff through design, build, certification, launch and post-launch stabilization; establish scope, milestones and exit criteria.
Work with Arlo architects and partner engineers on integration design, API usage, authentication, data flows, video streaming, performance and reliability targets; surface dependencies and technical risks early.
Coordinate engineering, product, QA, security and privacy review, legal, marketing and support across multiple programs; manage trade-offs and escalate with clear recommendations.
Serve as the partner’s day-to-day counterpart by running joint working sessions, steering reviews and executive updates, and maintaining transparent status and follow-through.
Develop reusable onboarding playbooks, test and certification plans, launch checklists and reporting processes.
Maintain a single source of truth for plans, risks, decisions and dependencies; provide leadership with concise status and forecasts tied to commercial targets.
Ensure monitoring, support runbooks, SLAs and incident paths are ready before launch, and track partner health metrics after launch.
Use AI and automation to improve status reporting, risk tracking and documentation.
