About The Position

Apple’s Operations team ensures that Apple’s ground breaking designs become industry-leading products, delivered on time and on spec. This high profile, highly respected organization is positioned at the junction of Apple’s product teams, the industries that supply core component technologies, and our manufacturing partners who help ensure that products such as iPad, iPhone and Mac can be restocked just as fast as they fly off the shelves.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering or product development
  • Bachelors in an engineering discipline
  • Validated working experience with DFm & DFx
  • Proven track record of cost reduction, project management and engineering design required
  • Required to understand tolerance stack ups for complex parts, systems, and final assemblies

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in introducing products into manufacturing, or high volume production is a huge plus
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experience working in a matrix organization
  • Direct experience interfacing with or leading any of the following functional engineering teams a plus (ME, EE, TE, DFX, Etc.)
  • Experience working with OEM partners
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a worldwide environment
  • New Product Introduction and Manufacturing Operations experience desired
  • Experience working with and dimensioning different materials a plus
  • Solid understanding of GD&T principles a plus
  • JMP, Minitab & Six Sigma experience a plus
