About The Position

Everlaw is looking for a Technical Program Manager, Engineering to drive technical alignment, system ownership, and process enforcement across our Engineering team. In this high-visibility role, you will focus on Engineering Manager (EM) and Engineering Program Management (EPM) enablement, building self-service automation and tools that act as force multipliers across the entire organization. Ideally, you bring a background in software development within a program management function and a passion for turning complex technical requirements into elegant operational solutions. This role sits within our Engineering department, where you will partner closely with senior engineering leadership to cultivate strategic relationships and unblock technical teams. You will bridge the gap between engineering infrastructure and business intelligence, helping to define and collect datasets that inform our data-driven decision-making. Your work will directly impact our engineering velocity, enabling multidisciplinary teams to execute with confidence, clarity, and autonomy. Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience as a Technical Program Manager (TPM) or in a similar technical program/project management function.
  • A background in software development or a deep understanding of software engineering platforms and infrastructure architecture.
  • Domain expertise and working Python knowledge in relation to data structures, distributed systems, and business intelligence data analysis.
  • Proficient in navigating and leveraging tools like Jira, GitHub, AWS, Salesforce, or Fivetran to build modular data preparations and clean visualizations.
  • A strategic relationship builder who can navigate team dynamics effectively, manage competing priorities, and smoothly unblock technical teams.
  • An excellent communicator who can turn complex technical data into clear, accessible narratives for a variety of audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Software Engineers (SWEs) and Engineering Managers to define project scope, track dependencies, and remove blockers to drive multidisciplinary teams to successful project completion.
  • Develop and refine roadmaps for your portfolio of operational programs, translating sparse requirements into concrete technical solutions aligned with yearly business objectives.
  • Build automation-based workflows, workflow agents, and self-service tools within industry-standard engineering systems (such as AWS, Salesforce, Fivetran, Jira, and GitHub) to serve as organizational force multipliers.
  • Define, collect, and sanitize raw usage data to design and implement business intelligence visualizations that inform data-driven decisions and measure program impact.
  • Synthesize complex project information into accessible narratives, autonomously presenting deliverables tailored for engineering senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Break down technical solutions into meaningful milestones, executing with high confidence and velocity across your program portfolio.
  • Operate and deliver projects utilizing industry and project management best practices.

Benefits

  • Compensation: The expected salary range for this role is between $140,000 - $215,000. The final offered salary will be dependent upon many factors including the candidate’s experience and skills. The role's compensation is subject to change in the future.
