About The Position

The Engineering Enablement Technical Program Manager is a strategic partner to the R&D organization, responsible for accelerating developer velocity through targeted technical upskilling. This is not a delivery-only role; it is a programmatic and consultative role. You will partner with emerging AI teams and infrastructure SMEs to scope, design, and operationalize high-fidelity workshops and resources. You will act as a technical translator who understands the nuances of CI/CD, cloud-native architecture, and AI workflows. Furthermore, you will serve as a cross-functional liaison for Open Source (OSS) efforts, partnering with Legal, Security, and DevProd to ensure our open-source contributions and usage are compliant and secure.

Requirements

  • Significant experience or awareness in modern engineering domains: CI/CD pipelines, Networking, Cloud Operations (AWS/GCP), Containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and Linux.
  • Ability to hold your own in a room of senior engineers.
  • A foundational understanding of the AI development lifecycle to effectively support emerging AI teams.
  • 3+ years of experience managing complex technical programs involving cross-collaboration between Engineering, Legal, and Security.
  • Proven ability to scope and structure technical training content without necessarily being the "front-of-room" instructor.
  • Experience navigating the intersection of open-source contributions, licensing, and security requirements.
  • Exceptional ability to synthesize complex technical requirements into actionable program plans for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with AI/ML and emerging development teams to identify skill gaps and design learning roadmaps.
  • Own the design and execution strategy for training content.
  • Work alongside Engineering SMEs to extract complex technical knowledge—covering CI/CD, Networking, Cloud Ops, and Containers—to build structured, code-centric workshops.
  • Drive the creation of technical artifacts, runbooks, and self-paced modules, ensuring content is technically accurate and resonates with a senior engineering audience.
  • Provide technical insight and program support for open-source initiatives.
  • Partner with Legal and Security teams to facilitate code reviews for OSS contributions and ensure alignment with corporate compliance standards.
  • Work with the DevProd team to integrate open-source best practices into the standard engineering workflow.
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of multiple engineering enablement projects, from initial scoping to post-program impact analysis.
  • Maintain tight feedback loops with R&D leadership to ensure enablement programs align with shifting product priorities and AI roadmaps.
  • Define and track success metrics for technical upskilling initiatives to demonstrate impact on engineering productivity.
