About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Technical Product Owner for a hybrid role (3 days per week onsite) with a Global Financial Institution in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. The role involves analyzing and translating business needs into technical solutions for the Digital Channels space. The Technical Product Owner will act as an ambassador for change, become a subject matter expert, maintain relationships with product management, and drive technology development. Responsibilities include eliciting requirements, creating documentation, and ensuring the successful implementation of assigned projects.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5-10 years' experience working in Agile methodology, preferably in a Business Analyst or Product Owner role
• Experience within Corporate or Commercial Treasury at a large financial institution
• Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Experience building and maintaining Stakeholder relationships
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both technology and business partners
• Experience creating user journeys, user stories, wireframes, mockups, and diagrams
• Experience using Agile tools like Jira or Rally
• Understanding of business process redesign and improvement techniques
• Understanding of technical solutions and components (APIs, Middleware, Services, SQL)
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and presentation skills
• Prior experience in an IT or management consulting environment with a focus on business analysis within financial services
• Certification in Agile Scrum such as CSPO, CSM, or Certified Product Owner

• Working closely with product partners to on-board new functional requirements
• Documenting designs and improving developer tooling and standards
• Participating in code reviews and daily SCRUM

Responsibilities

• Analyze and translate business needs for enhancements to existing products or new offerings
• Elicit and document business and functional requirements
• Write and groom business enablement, technology enablement, and tech debt Epics, MBIs, and stories
• Generate process/data flow diagrams and create user guides
• Analyze the impact of proposed solutions across the business
• Develop use cases to demonstrate business requirements to the technology team
• Act as a liaison across business units, development staff, management, and end-users
• On-board new functional requirements
• Document designs and improve developer tooling and standards
• Participate in code reviews and daily SCRUM
