About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Technical Product Owner for a Hybrid position (3 days per week onsite) with a Global Financial Institution. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. The role requires a technically adept individual with expertise in Java middleware systems running on Linux platforms. The Technical Product Owner will drive the development of scalable backend services, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build, and optimize Java-based middleware solutions. A key aspect of the role involves shaping product strategy by aligning technical deliverables with broader business objectives to ensure the middleware platform meets current and future product needs.

Requirements

Expertise in Java middleware systems running on Linux platforms
Experience with RHEL and JBoss EAP
Proficiency in Shell Scripting and Python
Experience with Packer

Nice To Haves

Experience with Ansible or Terraform
Knowledge of Openshift

Responsibilities

Drive the development of scalable backend services
Work with cross-functional teams to design, build, and optimize Java-based middleware solutions
Shape product strategy and align technical deliverables with business objectives
Ensure the middleware platform supports current and future product needs
