About The Position

The Technical Product Manager Intern will work with USAFacts’ product and engineering teams to transform complex government data into trusted insights published on the organization’s flagship website. The intern will analyze data, integrate sources, and help ensure published information is accurate, complete, and consistent. The role provides hands-on experience throughout the data lifecycle, including preparing data, building reports, dashboards, and visualizations, and responsibly using AI to accelerate work and automate workflows. This is a paid, full-time summer internship for students in the penultimate year of undergraduate study. The position is based in Bellevue, Washington, with an intentional hybrid schedule: employees work onsite Tuesday through Thursday and may work remotely or in the office on Mondays and Fridays. The internship lasts at least 10 weeks, with flexible start and end dates between May and September to accommodate school schedules. It pays $33 per hour; interns are overtime eligible, and hours over 40 per week are paid at time and a half. The position is non-exempt. Academic credit cannot be coordinated through the school. USAFacts is a nonpartisan, not-for-profit organization that makes government data accessible and understandable as a free public service. Employees must follow the organization’s Political Activity Policy, including refraining from political activity that could compromise its impartiality and avoiding public partisan views when identifiable as affiliated with USAFacts. Interns are not eligible for the company’s standard benefits package, but receive the paid time off, housing support, and transportation support described in the posting.
