About The Position

Speria is seeking a Technical Lead to provide technical leadership across its SaaS platform while remaining actively engaged in software design, development, and delivery. The role combines hands-on engineering responsibilities with technical leadership and execution ownership. The Technical Lead serves as the senior technical authority for a product area, guiding architecture, mentoring engineers, driving engineering excellence, and ensuring successful delivery of strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in the Microsoft technology stack, cloud-native development, enterprise integrations, and modern software engineering practices. The role involves reviewing architecture, writing production code, resolving complex technical challenges, and influencing teams across Engineering, Product, QA, DevOps, and Customer Success.

Requirements

Deep expertise in the Microsoft technology stack, cloud-native development, enterprise integrations, and modern software engineering practices.
Experience with C#, .NET, Azure, SQL Server, and modern web technologies.
Ability to provide technical leadership while contributing hands-on to software design, development, and delivery.
Ability to guide architecture, mentor engineers, and drive engineering excellence.
Ability to resolve complex technical challenges and influence teams across Engineering, Product, QA, DevOps, and Customer Success.

Responsibilities

Own technical direction for one or more product domains within the Speria platform.
Lead architecture and design discussions for new capabilities, integrations, and platform enhancements.
Evaluate technical solutions and recommend approaches based on scalability, maintainability, security, and operational efficiency.
Establish and maintain engineering standards, coding practices, and architectural principles.
Serve as the primary technical escalation point for complex engineering challenges.
Drive technical roadmap initiatives that improve platform reliability, performance, and developer productivity.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable SaaS applications and platform services.
Build and maintain APIs, integrations, authentication systems, and distributed services.
Contribute hands-on to coding, troubleshooting, debugging, and production support.
Participate in technical discovery, estimation, and solution planning activities.
Lead implementation efforts for large, cross-functional initiatives.
Design and support cloud-native solutions running on Microsoft Azure.
Drive improvements in observability, monitoring, performance optimization, and system reliability.
Partner with DevOps teams to improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and operational readiness.
Guide implementation of secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures.
Support infrastructure modernization and platform optimization initiatives.
Mentor software engineers through code reviews, architecture reviews, and technical coaching.
Help engineers grow their technical skills and expand their ownership capabilities.
Lead knowledge-sharing sessions and technical workshops.
Promote a culture of continuous learning, accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
Assist Engineering Managers in developing technical career paths and succession planning.
Partner with Product Managers and Engineering Managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Drive technical planning, dependency management, and risk mitigation.
Ensure engineering teams deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.
Proactively identify delivery risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with QA, Product, Data, Support, and Customer teams to ensure successful outcomes.
Champion AI-assisted development practices across engineering teams.
Leverage GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, and emerging AI engineering tools to improve development efficiency.
Drive adoption of automated testing, code analysis, documentation generation, and engineering workflow automation.
