About The Position

The Technical Instructor facilitates technical training for customers and employees, both in person and virtually. The position is based in the Pasadena, Texas office when not traveling and requires overnight travel 50% of the time. The instructor maintains technical knowledge through VEGA product and industry educational training, ensures consistent course quality throughout the course life cycle, and assesses training effectiveness using feedback to guide improvements. The role also mentors fellow instructors and coordinates with them to support consistent delivery and a collaborative learning environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, or business-related field, or equivalent experience.
• Two years of instructor-based experience.
• Ability to perform the essential duties satisfactorily; reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate instructor-led and virtual technical training courses for customers and employees.
• Continuously enhance technical instructional delivery and presentation skills.
• Mentor other instructors in subject matter, content, and course delivery techniques for assigned technical courses.
• Ensure the quality and consistency of course content throughout a course life cycle.
• Facilitate training programs in accordance with business needs, regulatory requirements, and the Quality Management System.
• Maintain technical knowledge by participating in VEGA product and industry educational training opportunities.
• Report data on completed courses, issues, and absences.
• Determine overall program and training effectiveness by listening to feedback and making improvements as necessary.
• Liaise with fellow instructors to ensure consistent delivery, ongoing support, learning, and mentoring, while demonstrating team spirit and a strong work ethic.
