About The Position

The Technical Feasibility Specialist serves as the customer-facing technical feasibility owner for assigned Roche Information Solutions (RIS) opportunities in North America, supporting Digital Business Manager-led customer motions. The role leads technical discovery, solution design, feasibility assessment, and implementation readiness. It translates customer requirements and complex environments into scalable solution approaches, identifies integration and infrastructure risks early, supports clear handoffs to implementation teams, and captures recurring technical patterns to inform reusable architecture and future capabilities. The position requires healthcare IT fluency, solution-design capability, and sound commercial judgment, while maintaining clear boundaries between feasibility and implementation. This is a field-based role covering the United States. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of a major metropolitan airport, and travel of up to 50% is required. The expected salary range for the primary location of Indianapolis, Indiana, is $133,700–$248,300. Actual pay depends on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. Relocation benefits are not available.

Responsibilities

  • Lead structured technical discovery with customer IT, informatics, laboratory systems, security, and infrastructure stakeholders; document requirements, data availability, interfaces, dependencies, constraints, and assumptions.
  • Develop solution designs for assigned opportunities, including integration approaches, data flows, interfaces, infrastructure and deployment requirements, security dependencies, and implementation considerations.
  • Align proposed architectures with established RIS technical standards and escalate exceptions when needed.
  • Evaluate technical viability before customer commitments are made; identify integration, data, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and implementation risks and develop mitigation approaches with accountable stakeholders.
  • Support DBM-led opportunities through technical discovery sessions, solution-design workshops, demonstrations, and architecture discussions.
  • Build trusted relationships with customer technical stakeholders while preserving DBM ownership of the customer and commercial motion.
  • Partner with DBM, Strategic Growth & Activation, product, and accountable implementation teams to define technical success criteria, validate architecture and dependencies, document assumptions and risks, and prepare technical handoffs for pilots or implementation.
  • Capture recurring technical patterns and convert validated learning into reusable technical assets, discovery guides, standards, and product feedback.
