About The Position

We are hiring! AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Technical Enablement Advisor in Houston, Texas. This is a hybrid position, with three days remote and two days onsite each week. The Technical Enablement Advisor provides design and development of technical training and execution-focused coordination. The role supports the planning, development, deployment, tracking, and documentation of training activities across business units, working under client-defined priorities, governance, and standards. This role is 100% client-facing and supports workforce capability building, knowledge transfer, and operational performance improvement. Up to 20% of domestical travel as needed particularly when in-person engagement is necessary. Working under the Strategy & Advisory Lead and in coordination with the AtkinsRéalis Project Manager, the role focuses on instructor-led, virtual, and eLearning delivery that enables learners to apply skills in real-world environments while championing AtkinsRéalis values.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in technical training facilitation.
  • Degree in Educational Technology, Curriculum & Instruction, Management, Human Resources, Communications, Instructional Design; Experience in technical training facilitation and instructional design may substitute for formal education.
  • Highly motivated, dependable, and self-directed.
  • Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments.
  • Ability to travel domestically as needed particularly during periods where in-person engagement is necessary.
  • Periodic on-site collaboration required (approximately 3–5 days per month, subject to engagement needs).
  • Must be able to work independently within defined scope and escalation pathways.
  • Ability to manage routine logistical and coordination tasks associated with training execution.
  • Strong aptitude for learning new skills and technologies.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Sharepoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Oracle Primavera Unifier and other Primavera suite products.

Responsibilities

  • Supports execution and coordination of instructor-led, blended, and SOP-related technical training initiatives under established learning governance and priorities.
  • Coordinates technical training intake activities, including documentation of objectives, target audiences, schedules, and dependencies.
  • Sources presenters and topics for regularly scheduled programs.
  • Provides interactivity and visual information design guidance to presenters to improve learning quality.
  • Schedules and coordinates delivery and evaluation of sessions.
  • Supports deployment of technical training materials developed in partnership with Client Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Learning & Development liaisons to enable successful Knowledge Transfer.
  • Provides execution-level administrative support for the Learning Management System (LMS), including enrollment coordination, completion tracking, and reporting.
  • Escalates issues as appropriate staff as needed.
  • Maintains accurate training records and supports audit readiness through documentation validation and evidence compilation.
  • Assists in identifying organizational and individual learning needs in varying departmental units and in suggesting prioritized approaches to meeting those needs.
  • Coordinates logistics for training delivery, including scheduling, materials coordination, and instructor readiness support.
  • Markets training offerings and programs using appropriate technology, including scheduled articles, program calendar updates, social media postings, and other electronic communications.
  • Identifies execution risks, issues, and dependencies and escalates appropriately in accordance with established governance.
  • Serves as a day-to-day coordination point among departmental SMEs and project leadership.
  • Facilitates execution-level working sessions, checkpoints, and status updates as required.
  • Tracks execution metrics (e.g., participation, completion, schedule adherence) and supports preparation of status reports.
  • Supports feedback loops and continuous improvement of execution processes, templates, and workflows.
  • Performs other execution-support duties as assigned within the agreed scope of services.
  • Coordinates deployment and updates of training materials developed in partnership with Client SMEs.
  • Serves as logistics coordinator for regional classroom programs with Training Specialists and SMEs.
  • May negotiate meeting space, audio visual, travel, meal and lodging requirements for participants and instructors.
  • Prepares and ships training materials and audio-visual equipment.
  • Coordinates room set-up and instructor support.
  • Manages timely correspondence with program attendees.
  • Performs such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.
