About The Position

BAE Systems is seeking a Mid-Level Technical Editor to review and refine written products supporting a government customer's mission-critical objectives. The role covers Open Source Intelligence Reports, IT technical artifacts, policy documents, and other media. The editor ensures products are clear, logical, consistent, and compliant with Intelligence Community publication standards, style guides, and classification protocols. The position also supports the editorial process, translation accuracy, narrative improvements, and FDO compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related business area with 8 or more years of related experience, including executive staff support experience within the last 2 years; alternatively, 10 or more years of experience.
• Prior military or government analytical experience.
• Prior experience in Information Security.

Responsibilities

• Review written products—including Open Source Intelligence Reports drafts, IT technical artifacts, policy documents, strategic communications, training materials, tradecraft notes, slides, website content, and other media—for grammar, punctuation, clarity, logic, and consistent language presentation.
• Collaborate with authors to revise products and ensure adherence to style guides and classification protocols.
• Support leadership of the editorial process to ensure OSIC written products meet Intelligence Community publication standards.
• Support translation accuracy and collaborate with authors on narrative improvements and FDO compliance.
