About The Position

Anthropic is hiring a Technical Editor for its Editorial Publishing team to write, edit, and review public-facing material about Anthropic’s AI systems, including model cards, risk reports, safety and security reports, and other technical publications. The editor will work cross-functionally with Alignment, Interpretability, Safeguards, Policy, Legal, and other teams to produce rigorous reports on tight timelines. The work covers model behavior, training environments, evaluation methods, and their limitations, and must be clear to both technical experts and general-public readers. The position offers an annual salary of $265,000–$295,000 USD. Anthropic offers competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and office space for collaboration.
