About The Position

Indotronix is seeking a Technical Editor and Writer 3 in Elkridge, Maryland. This role requires an individual with a Bachelor's Degree in STEM and an active Secret clearance. The primary responsibilities include writing, editing, and maintaining technical publications for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of sensors/systems. The role involves gathering and compiling information from various engineering and technical sources, developing documentation in compliance with military standards and specifications, and producing content in multiple formats such as page-based, electronic, HTML, XML, and SGML. Collaboration with engineers, writers, and team members is essential to ensure accurate documentation, and quality reviews will be performed to maintain accuracy and consistency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field, or 7+ years of relevant military experience
• U.S. citizenship with active DoD Secret clearance
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel and work in varying environments

Nice To Haves

• 10+ years of technical writing experience
• Experience with military standards and specifications
• Ability to obtain higher-level clearance
• Background as a military instructor
