About The Position

Indotronix is seeking an Engineering Technical Editor & Writer Level 2 in Elkridge, MD. This is a 1st Shift position, working from 8 AM to 4:45 PM on a 9/80A schedule. The role may involve potential overtime and travel (10%). A Bachelor's Degree in STEM and 3+ years of experience are required, along with an active Secret Clearance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field, or 3+ years of relevant military experience (radar, communications, electro-optics, or IT systems)
• U.S. citizenship with active DoD Secret clearance
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel and work in varying environments

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years of engineering/technical writing experience
• Experience with military standards and specifications
• Willingness to obtain higher-level clearance
• Background as a military instructor is a plus

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and update technical publications for operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of sensors/systems
• Gather and compile information from engineering and contractual sources
• Ensure documentation meets military standards and specifications
• Publish content in page-based, electronic, and structured formats (HTML, XML, SGML)
• Collaborate with engineers, writers, and team members to deliver accurate documentation
• Perform quality reviews of technical publications
