About The Position

TEKsystems is seeking a Technical Dress Rehearsal (TDR) Field Technician to support the Epic implementation at Dolly Parton Children's Hospital. The role validates workstations, peripherals, and endpoint devices to ensure operational readiness for Epic go-live. The technician executes testing procedures, documents results, identifies issues, and supports remediation across hospital and ambulatory locations. This is a contract position based onsite in Knoxville, Tennessee. Reliable transportation is required, and candidates must be committed through the holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform TDR testing on workstations, laptops, printers, scanners, and other clinical devices.
• Follow Epic TDR scripts and hospital-provided validation procedures.
• Document testing results, device readiness status, and identified issues.
• Escalate technical problems through established support channels.
• Support device and workflow validation activities to ensure go-live readiness.
• Maintain accurate records and provide daily status updates.
• Adhere to project schedules, site requirements, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with hospital IT teams, project leadership, and fellow technicians.
