About The Position

The Public Safety Technical Consultant – Data Migration is a full-time, individual contributor on Oracle’s Public Safety implementation team. This is a hands-on, SQL-focused technical position that partners with law enforcement and public safety agencies to extract, analyze, transform, validate, and migrate historical data into Oracle Public Safety software. Key responsibilities include investigating source-system data structures, identifying relationships and data-quality issues, and using SQL and related migration tools to build, test, and refine repeatable migration logic tailored to each agency’s data. Other responsibilities include working directly with agency stakeholders to translate migration requirements and operational needs into reliable, repeatable technical solutions, and collaborating with implementation, product, and agency stakeholders to support successful go-lives. Candidates for this role should be excited about pushing the boundaries and adopting new technologies and tools to accomplish successful customer outcomes. This role requires the ability to adapt quickly, a drive for results, and a “never satisfied” mentality.
