About The Position
Stock Plan Services, an equity compensation services division of client, is seeking an experienced Principal Data Migration Engineer who can help design and lead the execution of complex data migration initiatives. This role owns key components of migration delivery and ensures high-quality outcomes.
Requirements
- 7-10 years in data engineering or migration
- Strong hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and SQL, Python
- Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Solid understanding of data modeling and transformation patterns
- Experience with testing, validation, and reconciliation processes
- Ability to lead small teams or initiatives
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data migration pipelines and workflows
- Define data mappings, transformation logic, and validation rules
- Lead migration execution and troubleshooting
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reconciliation
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and business teams
- Conduct data quality assessments and remediation
- Support cutover planning and execution
- Contribute to improving tools, frameworks, and processes
