About The Position

Cleveland Brothers is hiring a Construction Equipment Technical Communicator to help diagnose and repair construction and paving equipment. The role requires relevant experience operating and maintaining earthmoving and construction equipment, along with the ability to communicate with customers and solve problems. Customer satisfaction is a primary concern.

The position is performed in an industrial environment with exposure to noise, heat, cold, injury hazards, and atmospheric conditions. Physical requirements include stamina and the ability to sit, stand, climb, walk, lift, pull or push, carry, grasp, reach, stoop, crouch, listen, and speak. Applicants must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Requirements

• Relevant working experience, or graduation from a technical school or military school acceptable to the company.
• Previous experience working on heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electronics.
• Welding experience.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good human relations skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Motor coordination, coordination of eyes, hands, and feet, verbal intelligence, and numerical intelligence.
