Technical Business Analyst/Product Builder
About The Position
iMBranded is seeking a versatile Technical Business Analyst / Product Builder to join their Innovation & Technology team. This role is designed for a hands-on problem solver who enjoys the intersection of business, technology, and execution, translating ideas into working solutions. The individual will partner with the Director of Innovation to identify opportunities, translate business needs into requirements, manage product backlogs, and build tools, automations, and prototypes using modern technologies and AI. This position is ideal for someone with a technical background, such as a former developer, who has transitioned to a business-facing role but still enjoys building and experimenting.
Requirements
- 5–8 years in mixed technical roles (Developer, Systems Analyst, BA, Product Owner)
- Experience across technical and business domains
- Understanding of integrations, APIs, and data flows
- Ability to validate simple code
- Experience using AI tools
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
- Experience with CRM/ERP systems
- Builder mentality
- Comfortable with ambiguity
- High ownership
- Curious and proactive
Nice To Haves
- Startup or transformation environment experience preferred
- Automation tools knowledge (Power Automate, scripting)
- Data visualization tools experience (Power BI)
Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
- Translate needs into structured documentation
- Own and maintain product backlogs
- Prioritize work based on impact and feasibility
- Act as a bridge between business and technology
- Design solutions across systems (ERP, CRM, cloud platforms)
- Build lightweight tools, automations, scripts
- Prototype ideas quickly to validate concepts
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI across the organization
- Use AI tools for requirements, design, and code generation
- Validate AI-generated outputs
- Help define an AI-enabled way of working
- Analyze business processes and identify inefficiencies
- Support data structure and reporting needs
- Improve data quality and visibility
