About The Position
The Technical Assistant works in the MRI/Imaging area at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, supporting MRI Technologists to maintain workflow and improve department efficiency. The role involves assisting patients before and during MRI procedures, keeping rooms clean, supporting inventory needs, and helping maintain MRI safety. The department provides imaging services using advanced technologies in a compassionate patient-care environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, or Heartsaver CPR (HSCPR or HSFACPR).
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a healthcare or medical environment.
Responsibilities
- Transport patients to and from the medical center.
- Help outpatients change and prepare for MRI examinations.
- Walk patients to and from scanners and help position them on the scanner.
- Maintain clean rooms and assist with inventory.
- Participate in MRI safety and ensure patients and the area remain MRI safe.
