About The Position
The Technical Assistant works in the MRI/Imaging area at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, closely supporting MRI Technologists to maintain workflow and improve department efficiency. The role assists patients before and during MRI exams, helps maintain clean rooms and inventory, and participates in MRI safety practices to ensure patients and the area remain MRI safe.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, or Heartsaver CPR (HSCPR or HSFACPR).
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a healthcare or medical environment.
Responsibilities
- Transport patients to and from the medical center.
- Help outpatients change and prepare for MRI exams.
- Walk patients to and from scanners and help position them on the scanner.
- Maintain clean rooms and assist with inventory.
- Participate in MRI safety and ensure patients and the area are MRI safe.
