WIL is seeking a Technical Assistance Manager for community development to help local governments and nonprofits administer federal housing and community development programs, such as CDBG and HOME. The role involves leading technical assistance plans, assessing grantee capacity, delivering training and coaching, and advising on program design, compliance, financial management, and budgeting. It also coordinates subject-matter consultants and tracks technical assistance results. This is a contingent proposal opportunity in WIL’s expert collaborator network, not a funded vacancy. It supports a competitive grant application for which no award has been made; there is no guaranteed work or funding. If an award proceeds and the staffing model calls for it, WIL may offer a project-based contract or consulting engagement. WIL will ask for permission before naming the candidate or including their resume in a proposal. The opportunity is remote within the United States and is intended for a project-based contract collaborator.
