About The Position

The Technical Assembler position supports the technical and primary electrical components of Pratt Industrial’s valves ensuring that customers receive a fully functional product. This position also supports warehouse efforts in quality control of outgoing and returned products.

Requirements

• Standard technical electrician skills (and safety knowledge)
• Experience with valves and fabrication is a plus

Responsibilities

• Complete actuation and basic electrical on products including wiring and work with solenoids, limit switches, and positioners.
• Inspect, test, and evaluate products that are returned by customers and new products entering the warehouse using measuring devices like gauges, meters, and calipers.
• Preparing necessary reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
• Eliminating products that are not up to standards and finding the reasons for product problems.
• Understand and apply blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Use testing devices such as calipers, hydro test press, torque tester, and voltmeter to identify and report electrical problems
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Keep work area and department clean and organized.
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to all relevant safety guidelines, procedures, and regulations and flagging any equipment or safety issues to the appropriate supervisor.
