As an Assembler, you are responsible for a key part of the production and distribution of our industry leading Von Duprin products . You will have the opportunity to impact the safety exit devices in your everyday life . You will be responsible for putting together component parts or pieces that adhere to a specified set of blueprints or schematics with accuracy and precision. This role gives you t he opportunity t o work in multiple stations, providing you well-rounded assembly experience to develop and grow your career. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3 months manufacturing experience required
  • Basic math and communication skills
  • Experience performing quality inspections/Total Quality Checks

Nice To Haves

  • six months assembly experience preferred
  • Experience with power and hand tools

Responsibilities

  • Rotate through multiple stations on a shift to ensure maximum alertness and preparation
  • Effectively communicate with other stations on the assembly line to ensure maximum speed and accuracy
  • Assemble components accurately, thoroughly, and quickly to approved specifications
  • Verify connections for quality control and ensure they match specifications and record discrepancies in assembly log
  • Understand and ensure commitment to the safety guidelines within the manufacturing floor and assembly stations
