About The Position

We are looking for a Tech writer to support our IT team. The role involves creating and maintaining documentation for IT products and business processes, including standard operations, procedures, and legal requirements. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as a technical writer in IT and be proficient in modern documentation practices.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience as a technical writer in IT
  • Experience developing and maintaining documentation using the "Docs as Code" principle
  • Proficiency with version control systems (git) and development tools (IntelliJ IDEA, VS Code, or similar)
  • Experience with Hugo for generating static documentation
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Markdown
  • Experience documenting APIs and technical solutions
  • Skills in creating and maintaining a product knowledge base
  • Experience writing and maintaining technical documentation at all stages of the software development lifecycle
  • Skills in interacting with developers, business analysts, project managers, and other team members
  • Experience writing various internal documentation at the request of department heads
  • Ability to create documentation for developers and users based on verbal or video descriptions
  • Ability to analyze and structure large volumes of information
  • Experience in independent product testing to verify the accuracy and completeness of documentation
  • Experience preparing and collecting documentation for audits
  • Advanced English proficiency
  • Excellent knowledge of Russian and English, with the ability to write concise, structured, and well-written texts

Responsibilities

  • Writing documentation to support IT products (different teams) and business processes (standard operations, procedures, legal requirements)
