About The Position

We are seeking an analytical and customer-focused Technical Support Admin to join our Elevator Controls team at Vantage Elevation. You'll play a hands-on role in supporting customers, coordinating technical documentation, and helping ensure quality and reliability across our operations. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, technical support, or administrative roles.
  • Associate degree (A.A.) or higher preferred.
  • Previous hands-on technical work experience in a customer support environment preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and customer requests.

Responsibilities

  • Support customers with parts sales inquiries, quotations, order processing, and status updates via phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Process parts orders and prepare order confirmations, shipment documentation, tracking information, and customer support tickets.
  • Administer Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) for warranty replacements, repairs, and product returns, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution.
  • Investigate returned products, resolve documentation discrepancies, and coordinate with customers to obtain required information.
  • Manage vendor-related RMAs and collaborate with Purchasing to process returned materials and warranty claims.
  • Create, maintain, and track Modification Requests, associated logs, and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare parts sales orders for modification projects and coordinate with vendors to source required materials and obtain quotations for non-stock or special-order parts.
  • Collaborate with Technical Support, Purchasing, vendors, and customers to resolve issues, support order fulfillment, and ensure a high level of customer service.
  • Assist management with documenting, maintaining, and supporting Technical Support team processes, procedures, and training initiatives.
  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned by management.
