About The Position

Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world. This role is for someone motivated by creating new processes, tackling complex business problems, and organizing chaos, who thrives on driving technological innovation for customers. The successful candidate will join a team of professionals including system and network engineers, construction managers, portfolio managers, security experts, and operations managers. They will work across Leo to ensure top-notch processes while delivering high-capacity services at competitive prices. Requirements

  • 8+ years of technical program management experience
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • 8+ years of project management (including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk and critical path management) experience
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

  • Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, evaluate alternatives and develop processes and tools as needed to support the organization
  • Experience working with fast-moving, high-performance teams and driving innovative solutions tailored to unique business environments
  • Knowledge of sourcing/procurement, building systems and maintenance, vendor management and customer service

Responsibilities

  • Lead Strategic Infrastructure Development
  • Design and implement innovative solutions for complex technical challenges
  • Create scalable, robust systems that can adapt to growing service demands
  • Drive programs that enable organizational growth and efficiency
  • Oversee Project Execution and Reporting
  • Monitor and report on ground infrastructure health metrics to key stakeholders
  • Ensure timely delivery of ground capacity to meet program objectives
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and risks effectively
  • Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Serve as the primary liaison between: Ground and Network Engineering teams, Ground Infrastructure teams, Leo legal and supply chain departments, AWS organization
