Product Manager -Tech, Amazon Leo
About The Position
Amazon Leo is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Amazon Leo will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity. The PMT - Tax products, will play a crucial role in defining and implementing features and tools for tax compliance. Candidates for this role must have deep domain expertise in building software products to support Tax calculation, exemption workflows, and reporting.
Requirements
- 4+ years of customer-facing product development and product management, including defining, launching, and optimizing product and services experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with feature priotization and product roadmap tradeoffs
- Experience working with engineering and technical teams to build automated solutions
- Experience defining roadmap strategy and prioritizing deliverables for your team products
- Deep domain expertise in building software products to support Tax calculation, exemption workflows, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of tax systems and tooling.
- Technical acumen to translate complex tax compliance requirements into scalable product solutions.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Responsibilities
- Partner with engineering teams and operational stakeholders to define Amazon Leo service offerings through expertly crafted working backwards and business requirements documents that translate seamlessly into product and engineering deliverables.
- Leverage deep tax domain expertise—spanning exemptions, calculations, and reporting—alongside a strong understanding of tax systems and tooling to ensure compliance requirements are met across geographies.
- Analyze and implement subscription lifecycle models with segment-specific KPIs.
- Translate complex tax compliance requirements into scalable product solutions.
