AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, ensuring customers have continuous access to the innovation they rely on. This role is for a Sr. Technical Infrastructure Program Manager within the AWS Non-Standard Infrastructure Global Delivery Team, focusing on driving non-standard infrastructure capacity delivery worldwide. The position involves leading cross-functional teams to develop and implement non-standard infrastructure designs, manage requirements, budgets, and project schedules, and improve fleet health. It requires long-range planning for complex, multi-year capacity delivery and capital improvement initiatives, as well as coordinating local efforts for global fleet optimization. The role collaborates across the entire AWS organization to address capacity constraints and drive projects from conception to deployment. The candidate will also be responsible for driving accountability, monitoring program health, and escalating issues to executive leadership. This role offers the opportunity to influence business-critical decisions at the forefront of emerging capabilities and services, requiring comfort with managing remote teams, assessing and mitigating risks, troubleshooting issues, removing bureaucratic barriers, and navigating uncertainty.
