About The Position

STRUCTURAL is seeking experienced craft professionals to perform work in the Lake Charles, Louisiana area and surrounding Gulf Coast areas. The role involves structural steel welding and fitting, along with construction work that may include concrete repair, demolition, placement and finishing; formwork and carpentry; rebar replacement; concrete coating application; fireproofing installation; and equipment grouting. Candidates must be willing to travel to jobs outside the Lake Charles area and wear a respirator. The employer conducts pre-employment drug testing and describes its workplace as drug-free, with a 24/7 safety and quality culture.

Requirements

• Welding and fitting experience is required.
• Possess a TWIC card.
• Have previous industrial plant experience.
• Be willing to wear a respirator.
• Be able to pass written or computerized industrial plant entrance tests.
• Be willing to travel to jobs outside the Lake Charles, Louisiana area.
• Have experience with a self-performing contractor, general contractor, or specialty contractor.

Nice To Haves

• Current Basic and Basic Plus Safety Council Training.
• Turnaround or shutdown experience.
