About The Position

Join our team as a Tech 2, Equipment Maintenance Technician in a fast-paced warehouse environment, working Monday-Friday (11:00pm-7:30am) with a competitive pay rate of $29.50/hour. This contract role focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting conveyor systems—ideal for candidates with hands-on mechanical, electrical, and controls expertise. Flexible scheduling, including mandatory weekend overtime and possible alternate shifts, is required.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or GED
• 3.5–5 years of hands-on experience with conveyor systems in a warehouse or industrial environment
• Solid mechanical, electrical, and controls troubleshooting abilities
• Experience performing facility maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance on automated conveyor systems
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and potential call-in shifts

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency with 12V, 24V AC/DC, 120V/208V, and 277V/480V power systems
• Familiarity with MHE battery maintenance
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and SAP work order processes

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections to identify, diagnose, and resolve conveyor system and facility issues
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance
• Execute repairs on building structures, automated conveyors, mechanical, electrical, and control systems
• Install, set up, and maintain new equipment and machinery as needed
• Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies for uninterrupted operations
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
• Accurately document all installation, maintenance, and repair activities
