About The Position

The 4th St Team Member supports daily car wash operations and guest service. The role involves safely preparing and loading vehicles, operating and adjusting car wash equipment, assisting guests with wash services and memberships, maintaining the facility, and completing operational tasks and shift documentation. Team Members are expected to follow company policies and safety procedures, attend required training and meetings, and work in varied weather conditions. This position is eligible for cash and digital tips.

Requirements

Knowledge of property safety and layouts, what not to wash, and tunnel equipment.
Ability to work in all weather conditions, including cold, hot, wet, rain, and snow.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to remain on your feet 100% of the day and work outside.

Responsibilities

Greet guests as they approach the car wash tunnel and engage each guest using the 4 Steps of Service.
Safely guide and load each vehicle according to its size, inspect vehicles before washing, and identify what should not be washed.
Use the bug prep gun to prepare vehicles for washing and remove mud from wheel wells when appropriate.
Make key adjustments to car wash equipment and communicate vehicle information and equipment retractions to the crew.
Know the locations of emergency stops and handle tunnel incidents effectively and safely.
Provide vacuum service and observe the vacuum area to support guest satisfaction.
Explain the three single-wash packages, inform retail guests about memberships, present the company’s Difference, and support member visit success.
Use License Plate Recognition and RFID sticker reads and demonstrate knowledge of membership management.
Train new Team Members using approved training modules.
Apply the LEAP Conflict Resolution process.
Complete the daily shift report and participate in the nightly close-down checklist.
Maintain a clean, organized car wash facility, including equipment, walls, trench, vacuums, trash cans, and lot.
Learn to safely open and close the car wash with leadership, use ladders safely, engage emergency stops while cleaning, and learn backroom safety and equipment procedures.
Follow company policies, procedures, safety standards, codes of conduct, and Champion safety procedures to avoid exposure to fumes, dirt, and harsh chemicals.
Attend all mandatory training sessions and team meetings and cleaning.
Perform other duties assigned by management.
