About The Position

Goodwill Greater Milwaukee and Chicago is hiring team members for its Willowbrook retail store, with positions that include Production Associates, Donation Attendants, Sales Floor Associates, and Cashiers. Team members support Goodwill’s mission of helping people with barriers to employment and provide customer service to donors and shoppers. Goodwill describes opportunities for cross-training, advancement, and specialized training and development. The starting pay is $15 per hour. Open interviews are held on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.; no appointment is needed.

Requirements

• One year of customer service, retail, or production experience is preferred.
• Must be able to stand, bend, and reach for the duration of the shift while maintaining a customer-service mindset.
• Donation Attendants must be able to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds and maintain customer-service standards when interacting with donors.

Responsibilities

• Production Associates price donated goods according to pricing guidelines and goals, helping maximize funds for Goodwill’s mission and maintain an efficient flow of donations.
• Donation Attendants greet and thank donors, carefully accept donations, sort incoming donations, and help keep the production area organized.
• Sales Floor Associates organize the sales floor, help customers find items, answer questions about Goodwill and donations, and provide customer service.
• Cashiers build relationships with customers, accurately ring up sales, and explain how purchases support Goodwill’s mission.
• Maintain a customer-service mindset while performing role duties.
